Education & Guidance

Custom Splints, Casts, Braces & Supports
We fabricate custom thermoplastic orthoses (splints) to protect injured or repaired structures, support healing, and facilitate prescribed movement where appropriate. This includes both immobilising and mobilising splints tailored to each patient’s diagnosis and functional goals. We also provide casting, off-the-shelf braces, compression garments, gloves, and other supports, with expert guidance to help determine the most appropriate solution for your needs.
Wound, Oedema & Scar Management
Comprehensive wound, swelling (oedema), and scar management plays an important role in optimising healing and facilitating early rehabilitation. Our services include suture removal, compression therapy, silicone management, scar massage, manual oedema mobilisation, and tailored treatment strategies to support recovery.
Laser Therapy (Photobiomodulation)
Hands UP Rehab offers Class IV laser therapy (photobiomodulation) as part of our contemporary treatment approach. This advanced technology may be incorporated into treatment plans to support pain management, inflammation reduction, tissue healing, and rehabilitation progression where clinically appropriate.
Soft Tissue Therapy & Manual Techniques
Tight or overloaded soft tissues can restrict movement and contribute to pain. Our treatment approach may include soft tissue therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM), and trigger point techniques to improve comfort, mobility, and function.
Range of Motion, Strength & Functional Rehabilitation

Sensory Re-education & Nerve Rehabilitation
