-
Splints, Casts, Braces, Gloves: We fabricate customised thermoplastic orthosis (splint) to rest and protect injured or repaired structures and allow prescribed movement. We can make immobilising and mobilising orthoses/splints of all shapes and sizes. We also offer casting and prefabricated off the shelf braces. We will provide guidance on what is the best choice based on diagnosis, individual needs and circumstances. Soft supports and gloves are also readily on hand and if we don't have what you need we will make it or find it!
-
Wound, Oedema & Scar Management: Comprehensive wound, oedema (swelling), and scar management to promote optimal healing and early rehabilitation. We provide suture removal, compression garments, silicone treatments, massage techniques, and manual oedema mobilisation.
-
Soft Tissue Massage, IASTM and Trigger Point Therapy: Tight muscles can restrict range of motion and cause discomfort. Our therapy includes specialised massage techniques and manual trigger point releases aimed at alleviating pain and enhancing muscle function.
-
Range of Motion & Strengthening: We work with our patients to develop tailored exercises and provide home exercise programs to enhance movement, strength, and endurance for daily living tasks. We can also provide work conditioning programmes to facilitate a successful return to occupational activities.
-
Sensory Re-education: Patients experiencing nerve compression or injury may notice altered sensations such as numbness or pins and needles. We conduct a thorough evaluation and develop a tailored treatment and management plan to address these issues effectively.
Our main objective is to assist patients to returning to their valued roles and occupations. We take immense pride in ensuring our patients leave fully informed about their condition and progress and we enjoy seeing them reach their milestones.
